We are recruiting for a global leader in the Ecommerce sector, who is headquartered in Munich and is currently searching for a

Several Enterprise Architects as they look to set up a new layer in the organisation to drive transformation. The business is flourishing more than ever before, they had

€2.65 Billion in turnover last year are looking for individuals who will lay the roadmap for them to become a

€10 Billion company in the next few years

They owe their success to their innovative technology-driven approach to software development and data-driven decision-making.

As an Enterprise Architect you will working closely with the C-suite and will have the autonomy to make an impact and positive change across the Ecommerce vertical of the business.

You will have team of Architects reporting directly into you and with partner with stakeholders from across the business.


In particular they are looking for someone with a strong background in either ecommerce or retail, who has a proven track record to instigating change.

Someone who can take critical business ideas and translate it to enterprise IT transformation. Someone who enjoys complex problems and has the gravitas to alleviate pain points with ease.

You will be part of growing 1000+ workforce, headquartered in Munich and have currently 10 other global offices.

The business is set on taking a larger chunk of the global ecommerce market in their sector and you will be one of the thought leaders of this journey.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent experience
  • Experience Defining the ecommerce architecture and enterprise architecture with due consideration of the bigger business goals.
  • Very good understanding of ecommerce backend technology, in a global ecommerce and ERP landscape & integration (middleware, API gateways)
  • Be able to describe the key services of a given cloud platform and be able to select appropriately for given use cases, e.g. compute, storage, analytics, etc
  • At least 5+ year experience as Technical Lead, coupled with a strong desire to mentor and coach others
  • Strong experience in developing technology roadmap and driving strategy discussions
