908 Devices is headquartered in Boston, MA, near the Seaport and has a satellite office in North Carolina and a growing population of remote staff worldwide.
Position Summary
The main task of the Production Assistant is the production of our analysis hose sets. This includes production assembly and testing of flow and tightness according to defined procedures and work instructions. The site also requires visual inspections, sample measurements for quality assurance and process optimization to improve yield.
This position is to be filled in Braunschweig, Germany.
This position may be full-time or part-time.
- Fulltime hours: 40 hours per week, Monday
- Friday, 8:00 17:00
- Working hours _parttime_: 30 hours per week, during normal business hours (Monday
- Friday 8:00 17:00).
Key Responsibilities
- Complete manual assembly of hose sets and membranes according to drawings and in accordance with the assembly instructions
- Testing of hoses and membranes as required
- Cutting hose materials,gluing them with plastic parts and assembling them according to drawings
- Cutting and assembling membrane materials
- Perform all activities to prepare individual components for shipping, including:
- Packaging individual components into sales items
- Filling and labelling of solutions
- Assistance with the shipment of goods
- Simple PC tasks (like printing labels)
- Ensure that the equipment and tools required for the manufacturing process are properly maintained and operated
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness at the point of manufacture of our products
- Compliance with all quality, safety and environmental regulations, standards and guidelines
- Maintain constant communication within your team's work environment
- Another important part of your job is troubleshooting and continuous quality control of our products.

- Good oral and written communication skills
