This position entails the global responsibility for defining the development, go-to-market and delivery strategy of integrated digital solutions for the EAD business.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Developing and ultimately leading a profitable new business field and setting up a team of Software Solution Architects to successfully establish digital solutions for our core industry customers (maritime, chemicals, pharma, refinery)
  • Starting in a task force setup and growing a global organization including business and operational model, value proposition, portfolio roadmap, work processes etc.
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting the leadership team peers and the wider EAD organization on their digital transformation journey and establish a strong internal and external & partnership network
  • Close collaboration across the EAD functions, regions and within the Transformation of Industry Business Area is a key success factor

What You Bring

  • Ability to lead and connect people, transforming cultures and shifting businesses into new growth fields
  • Strong business acumen with a good sense for future markets, our core industry and understanding customer value drivers and how to capture and monetize them
  • Track record in building high performance teams as well as finding lean solutions to complex challenges leading to the best result for our company as a whole
  • Successfully built and led digital / software businesses in an industry context in the past
  • Representing the business at executive level is nothing new for you as well as trustfully connecting with partners and customers
  • A stateofthe art approach to virtual collaboration is your strength and you use lean approaches to implement strategies and create followers in a matrix organization
  • Making no compromises in Employee Health and Safety, Compliance and good leadership practices

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise.
