- Develop, implement, and maintain effective Quality Management Systems in compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to QMS and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the region in obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance processes including raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product inspection.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are capable of consistently producing products that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve non-conformities and enhance product quality.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals across multiple sites.
- Foster a culture of quality, teamwork, and accountability within the region.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers within the region.
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and incorporate feedback into quality improvement plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
- Must have Quality Management experience in the Manufacturing sector (building the equipment in the factories, not installing on site)
- Must have experience in the Energy sector, a massive plus would be Transformer Exp. (other HV equipment could be sufficient)
- Working on the shopfloor in Manufacturing facility experience is key.
- Extensive experience in the power transformer manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Must have experience with the following quality methodologies: Six Sigma, PFMEA & Kaizen.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
