The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society.

Research Associate - AI in German Government (gn)

Your tasks:

  • Your main task at the Hertie School will be to serve as academic coordinator for this newly established program. This involves actively liaising and collaborating with module lecturers and external partners, managing external communication for the program, fostering community engagement with participants and serving as their main point of contact during their studies but also providing crucial support for the smooth operation and content development of the program.

Your profile:

  • An excellent university degree (Master or equivalent) in (Public) Management, Public Administration, Data Science, Information Systems/IT, Public Policy, or a related field (with graduation till mid 2024)
  • Knowledge and keen interest both in AI/Data Science and German public administration
  • Experience in supporting research or knowledge/training programs is a bonus
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • An excellent command of English and full fluency in German.
