The role

As a Financial Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in further shaping our risk management framework, working closely with our Risk Lead. You'll be part of a dynamic team tasked with mitigating credit and fraud risks, developing robust risk models, and developing insightful risk reports. Your role will play a key part in directly influencing our strategic decisions and contribute to the overall security and efficiency of our daily operations.

Requirements

Your impact?

Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify and mitigate credit and operational risks, thereby safeguarding our operations
Develop and maintain predictive models for credit and fraud risks, ensuring their accuracy through regular monitoring
Create and disseminate risk reports and dashboards, offering actionable insights and recommendations to manage and mitigate risks
Lead and manage risk-related initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives
Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing them with the insights needed to make informed decisions
Offer operational support by leveraging your deep understanding of risk and vetting operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our platform

What makes you a great fit?

Ideally, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in credit & fraud risk management within the payments or financial services industry
Advanced skills in SQL scripting, Python analytics, Excel & Google Sheets, risk reporting, and dashboard development
A proven track record in risk modelling, financial reporting, and the development and optimisation of policy rules & strategies
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English - all other languages are a plus
