About this position

At BetterDoc, we have developed and now enhance a system to support the assignment of patients to physicians who can best treat them - depending on the patient's condition, we find the best doctor to treat him or her.

Our next big steps are automation of the patient-physician matching process and the equipment and operation of the data science platform.

Your mission

You'll engage with our user base and the betterdoc experts to discover pain points and opportunities and share your insights within the company
Collaborate closely with the product teams when conceptualizing and delivering new features
Be the advocate for our personas, representing their interests and thinking of how we can improve their experience when using betterdoc
Bring your knowledge about personas, user journeys and flows, usability, best practices and easy navigation to create a great UX
Mentor other designers in the team and help them improve their skills. Improve the organization of our design processes
Deliver actionable work results through sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, hifidelity visual designs, prototypes, and any other artifacts you believe are necessary to convey your design thinking and ideas
Dive deep into the healthcare domain, bring fresh ideas to it and share with others
Influence the technical architecture with your requirements from a long term vision for our product
Enable our product teams by inspiring changes to our processes and ways of working

Profile:

Creating streamlined UI interactions is truly exciting to you
Have > 2 years of work experience with a good portfolio of works that demonstrate your experience creating successful designs
You understand how design decisions affect business decisions and are able to work with the tech team to build feasible solutions
You understand frontend code and the limitations of frontend technology and can demonstrate this through handson coding skills with HTML/CSS/JS or by showing a deep understanding of the needs of engineers you've worked with previously
Have worked in a team of high caliber people and are ready to build you own design team
Are experienced with UX but also have strong UI skills
You are experienced in working with data (qualitative and quantitative) to make decisions.
