I. SUMMARY


Working independently without supervision, provides day-to-day account servicing and resolution of routine to complex inquires, transactions and operational requests from organizational clients and the retail banking center network globally.

Processes intricate client funding requests, coordinating with military units, senior military leadership, host nation banks and internal departments. Approves organizational client onboarding actions while maintaining a high level of client due diligence. Has excellent understanding of the end-to-end processes for cash funding and client transaction fulfilment. Maintains high standards on internal operations and financial controls to ensure risk mitigation.

II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Own the client experience understanding the unique priorities of each of the five organizational client segments while anticipating client needs. Confidently identify solutions for new and existing client transactional and relationship needs. Maintain contact with clients via verbal, written and in-person communication.
  • Support and process the transaction requirements of organizational clients assisting with routine to complex inquiries and transactions. Process routine funding requests for clients.
  • Support special funding missions by identifying processes, using policy, procedures and historical successes as a template, while working with multiple internal departments and coordinating with units, senior military leadership and foreign banks.
  • Process banking center cash orders while coordinating with Main Cash and district office departments.
  • Prepare the daily Custody Report and monitor funds in transit reporting on delayed shipments. Interact with postal authorities to resolve delayed shipments.
  • Approve standard client-bank agreements. Conduct periodic reviews of existing agreement and refresh the agreements as applicable.
  • Participate on policy and procedure review teams and make recommendations for change/improvement.
  • Replace department manager as required/applicable.
  • Handle client complaints and ensure that comment cards are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Submit and ensure annual renewal of Policy Exceptions during department manager's absences.
  • Perform Quarterly Access Reviews during the department manager's absences.
  • Perform vendor management functions during the department manager's absences.
  • Perform records retention.
  • Monitor and order supplies.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Bank's products, services and procedures.
  • Coordinate and perform on-the-job training for new associates.
  • Prepare purchase requests and initiate payment instructions.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

A. Education and Knowledge


  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of German.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. and domestic banking regulations and practices including excellent knowledge of international payment methods and systems.
  • Good knowledge of military disbursing operations including familiarity with DoD R Financial Management Regulation, USAREUR and Army Regulations, Air Force and Navy Instructions pertaining to organizations on military installations.
  • Working knowledge of outsourced armored service providers.
