    The inhouse research team - Infinite Insight Center offers our games and partner studios extensive research services, including market and user insight, validation tests for games, and more.

    You will have three roles in this position:

    As a market and user research business partner, you will:

  • Work with games teams to understand their research needs and translate these into an actionable plan.
  • Guide games teams to plan out a user research strategy for the lifecycle of their game.
  • Support top profile game by providing suggestions for optimization, iteration, and polishing on game's relating businesses in the globe, and help to formulate publishing strategy.

    • As a senior researcher, you will:

  • Be responsible for the market and user research on key regions. Responsible on producing analysis of key competitor products in the region (including games on PC/console/Mobile), as well as analysis on regional user characteristics (such as game themes and aesthetic preferences, etc.), and of key user groups.
  • Be able to conduct usability playtests, gameplay playtests, and heuristic reviews on Level Infinite games and present the findings back to teams in a clear, actionable format.
  • Explore new research methods and opportunities in-line with changes in the games industry.

    • As a (potential) team leader, you will:

  • Oversee the Infinite Research Center's entire research strategy for the business purpose. Determine the scope of the work based on business requirements, then guide the team to produce results.

    • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in market and user research, with proficiency in various primary research methods and utilization of third-party databases. Work experience from multinational game companies or market research companies is preferred.
  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree or higher in experimental/social/cognitive psychology, human-computer interaction, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Capable of independently leading research projects. Extensive background in qualitative moderation and quantitative research, including direct user communication in local and overseas markets.
  • Strong track record in designing and conducting games user research studies across multiple platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of regional macro environments and user characteristics.
  • Possess cross-cultural research perspective and experience.
  • Proficiency in Office software, including PPT and Excel.
  • Knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, and Tableau is desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong learning ability, effective communication skills, self-motivation, teamwork, self-management, and execution skills.
  • Possess an open-minded and innovative mindset, accepting challenges and capable of multitasking.
  • A genuine passion for gaming, keeping up-to-date with a wide range of genres and platforms.
  • Potential or excel as a team leader, collaborating effectively with colleagues while also leveraging your expertise and charisma to influence others.
