Duties:


  • Coordinates requirements and resources with the USAREUR-AF G2 and EUCOM J2 and customers as required to accomplish prioritized production missions.
  • Establishes and maintains liaison with peer representatives within the Army, IC, and the National System.
  • Supervises a GEOINT production staff responsibility for production from multiple GEOINT phenomenologist (RADAR, Spectral, EO, NTM, LiDAR, GMTI, FMV).

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • This position is considered Non-Combat Essential (NCE) in support of the Army?s mobilization and wartime mission. Please see additional information section.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS12 that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined and experience which includes experience with Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT); and/or experience with Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED). This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

  • Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Discipline
  • Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED)
  • Organizational Awareness

  • Due to COVID19, the agency is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework, even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. At that time, you may be eligible to request to continue to telework one or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the agency's telework policy.
