What you will do


As a Director Total Rewards EMEA (M/F/d) you will lead the delivery of projects and programs and drive total rewards thought leadership and efficiency.

You will act as a regional Compensation and Benefits advisor, align all Compensation and Benefits activities to identify, define, refine, present and implement programs in the region, aligned with the organization's global Compensation and HR strategy.

This position is located in our EMEA headquarters in Hannover, Germany.

Tasks

  • Monitor the effectiveness of specified compensation programs and proactively work to develop recommended improvements.
  • Design, evaluate, and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements. Work toward renewal harmonization.
  • Support global benefits activities, including benefits strategy development, business proposal, implementation, maintenance and monitoring.
  • Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.
  • Act as trusted advisor to assigned HR leadership and business leaders and be the point of contact for escalation issues.
  • Responsibility for the annual renewal of insured benefits such as life and medical in the EMEA region and supporting renewal activities for other global regions.
  • Manage additional regional projects and being responsible for global programs like Global Vendor relations regarding benefits programs such as Life and Medical Insurance, Administration of the Global Grading Team and maintenance of our Enterprise Job Catalog Administration of Benefit and Functional Vehicles Policies, Salary Ranges Development, Incentive Administration Merit Budget Merit Planning Recognition.
  • Liaises with leadership, formulate, develop and implement policies and practices in the region.
  • Responsibility for all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations.
  • Formulate policies, procedures and programs for classification, orientation, benefits and compensation, and labor and industrial relations.
  • Team Management of Total Rewards Consultants / Analysts in EMEA.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field required, MBA certification, CCP/GRP or other Compensation and Benefits certification desired.
  • Advanced work experience in Human Resources including functional experience in Compensation and Benefits.
  • Proven competency in Consulting skills, Project Management skills and Leadership skills.
  • Mastery Compensation and Benefits technical skills (e.g. payline design, incentive design) and understanding of the legal, labor and economic environment of the EMEA region.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle high levels of complexity.
  • Ability working toward deadlines, multitasking and operating in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationship with the Total Rewards team, the Human Resources community and managers on various levels in an international environment.
  • Exceptional proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel and Power Point and advanced experience with other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Proficient skills in Project Management tools.
  • Experience with Human Resources systems like Workday desired.
  • Advanced English knowledge required, German is a plus.
