The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society.

The school offers master's programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research.

Its extensive international network positions it as an ambassador of good governance, characterised by public debate and engagement. The school was founded in 2003 by the Hertie Foundation, which remains its major funder. The Hertie School is accredited by the state and the German Science Council.

We seek to fill the following position:

Associate Student Recruitment (f/m/div)
full-time (40 hours/week)


Your tasks:

  • Develop your own ideas for new student recruitment campaigns and implement them with the help of the Student Recruitment team;
  • You will focus primarily on students recruitment in Germany and Europe;
  • Identify and reach out to potential multipliers and partner institutions to promote the Hertie School's study programmes;
  • Communicate with prospective students and help them with all admissionsrelated questions and concerns;
  • Represent the Hertie School at online and offline information sessions in Germany and abroad.

Your profile:

  • Relevant university degree in the social sciences or related fields;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A handson, cando attitude you are a proactive team player who does not hesitate to come up with new ideas and initiatives;
  • Ability to selforganize and work independently;
  • Previous experience in consulting, marketing, international organisations, public administration or higher education would be an asset;
  • Native or excellent English and German language skills.
