- Holistic planning of future needs and innovative avionics solutions, from concept analysis to feasibility in all research and pre-development phases
- Ensuring the retrofit and upgrade of the operational fleet for maximum efficiency
- Defining, developing and certifying highly effective avionics solutions
- Active participation in the avionics strategy at system level and in technology roadmaps
- Participation in system engineering for avionics: design of processes, methods and use of tools as well as management of cross-cutting functions
- Clear definition of operational concepts and use cases for the entire avionics landscape
- Performing precise functional analyses and defining the functional architecture
- Management of filter boards for problem reports at avionics level and responsibility for flight release activities
- Preparation of comprehensive technical evidence for qualification and certification at avionics level
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, aerospace or electronic systems/systems engineering
- Extensive professional experience in engineering
- Profound knowledge of Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill and Cameo as well as 3D experience (TRA/TRM/EEW/RGD) an advantage
- Business fluent in German and English
- Existing work permit for the EU
