The job

The working group Systems Biotechnology within the Department of
of Environmental Microbiology is seeking to fill the following position as Postdoc (f/m/x) in Microbial Metabolic Analysis as soon as possible:
Your tasks

Quantitative bioanalytics with gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, ion chromatography.
In particular, method development in the field of coupling chromatographic methods (IC, LC, GC) with mass spectrometry (MS and HRMS)
Multivariate data analysis
Cooperation with metabolic modelling team

Profile:

Completed doctoral degree in chemistry/ biochemistry with focus on analytics
First work experience in the mentioned field is desirable
Experience with high resolution mass spectrometry and MSn
Experience with analytical and preparative separation methods for enrichment of low molecular weight biomolecules
Confident English language skills essential
Experience with analytics software Chromeleon, Xcalibur, Compound Discoverer, and statistical packages is desireable
