As a Logistics Controller (all genders) within the Logistics Controlling team, you are responsible for the planning and controlling of Zalando Lounge Logistics functions focusing on our Transport, Packaging & Investment operations.
With more than 200 million Orders, 525 million Shipped Items annually, Logistics is the back-bone of Zalando's success story and our Logistics Controlling department is responsible for planning & monitoring the annual logistics budget.

THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:

As a Finance Controller (all genders) within the Logistics Controlling team, you are responsible for the planning and controlling of Zalando Lounge Logistics functions focusing on our Transport, Packaging & Investment operations.

With more than 200 million Orders, 525 million Shipped Items annually, Logistics is the back-bone of Zalando's success story and our Logistics Controlling department is responsible for planning & monitoring the annual logistics budget.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

:

Developing, delivering & driving the monthly and yearly financial planning, forecast & reporting of our Transport, Packaging expenses & Capex investments, representing a 8 digit annual budget.
Coming up with meaningful insights and deriving datadriven solutions for our operational departments. Increase transparency through continuously improving our tooling & reporting landscape.
Working autonomously with our data to create new metrics and reports and maintain existing ones in close cooperation with our Business Intelligence, Transport operations and Packaging & Sustainability teams.
Be a goto person for our Senior Management, Central Finance, Accounting and Operational teams providing transparency and decision support.
Actively taking part in business case preparations, assumption validation, target setting and budgeting process.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

:

A university degree in economics, business administration, mathematics, statistics or similar disciplines
More than +2 years professional experience in Controlling, Logistics and/ or similar fields of expertise, with a strong analytical / financial focus (Financial modeling, Analytical tooling, Excel Modelling, Planning & Reporting, business cases, etc.)
Be comfortable to connect with stakeholders to understand business needs, to share your view to colleagues on the basis of concepts and facts
A very good understanding of numbers, excellent analytical

- & data modeling skills, proven track record of exploring new tools & technologies (Power Pivot would be a big plus), as well as experience with SAP.
