You'll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem.

YOUR TEAM:

We are the perception & Fusion Team at CARIAD.

As part of the overall Volkswagen Group software strategy we develop Software for the assisted and automated Driving up to Level 4.

Our Team of 200 software and AI experts is focused on creating a complete 360° environment model for all Driving-, Parking
- and Safety-Functions following a "Data-Driven

Approach".

As head of one of our "Video Perception" competence centers you take responsibility for the in house software development of our camera based onboard video perception as a main contributor to our 360°environment perception model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

People management according to CARIAD people lead guidelines
Staffing and support of our project teams as servant leader
Definition of our technology roadmap together with our Product Management
Concept

- and subsystem release based on release recommendations created by the project teams

Specification and management of concept studies, POC, market and competitive analysis

WHO YOU ARE:

Expertise in "Video Perception" and ADAS/AD and preferably also in other sensor technologies like radar and lidar
Profound software development skills
Expertise Product/Project Management
Proven leadership experience in the software development domain, specifically in the ADAS/AD software development
Excellent knowledge in Agile Methodology
Excellent English and German language skills
