RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of our Optical Design & Test team, you will develop infrared spectrometers from prototype to series production.

  • You will be responsible for the construction and adjustment of optical systems and test setups.
  • Moreover, you will set up, maintain and modify prototypes and carry out and record experiments.
  • Furthermore, you will also work together with the project team on the development and planning of new experiments and test setups.
  • You will also provide support in analysing and interpreting results.
  • Last but not least, you will comply with safety regulations and guidelines in your daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- completed training as a physics laboratory technician, electrical engineer, mechatronics engineer, in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- experience in a laboratory environment with optical components and systems
- ideally good knowledge of infrared spectroscopy and experience in data analysis with Python
- analytical and structured way of thinking as well as a strong ability to work in a team
