An exciting opportunity has become available as an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) responsible for the technical direction of customers across our Major Energy customers.

This important role helps our customers meet their business goals using technology, accelerates strong business outcomes and ultimately improve the technology behind the services and experiences that they provide to citizens.

We need to help our customers become more productive, to get more from their data, to digitize as many processes as possible, maximising their investment in Microsoft technology in order to free up time for their business.


Our ATSs use their technical acumen, industry knowledge and commercial understanding to enable our customers to do business in new disruptive ways, through the adoption of Microsoft Cloud solutions (including Azure, Modern Workplace and Business Applications), Microsoft Industry Solutions, and our extensive Partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Technology Sales Leadership
  • Lead technology thought leadership and technology sales activities to drive the customer's digital transformation vision and roadmap with Microsoft. Orchestrate the extended team, leading customer joint envisioning sessions, to bring the best of Microsoft technology to help customer achieve their digital goals.

Digital Transformation Strategy
  • Own the relationship with Clevel technology/innovation executives at your client and build relationships with business leaders to achieve their business and technology outcomes. Understand the customer's business goals, solution areas, and partner solutions to build a technology roadmap, enabling the customer's innovation agenda with utilization of our Microsoft technologies.

Industry Knowledge
  • Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry knowledge to improve outcomes for the customer.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ experience of selling cloud solutions to Enterprise customers and achieving target or equivalent experience
  • Energy Industry experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience
  • OR equivalent experience
