YOUR TEAM:


For the department "Predictive Safety" we are looking for a student to write a master ́s thesis for the project Warn/Brake/Evade.

You will be given the responsibility for the following topic:
Evasive Steering Support and Autonomous Emergency Steering.

The department works on ADAS functions for predictive road safety. Using e.g.

visual and radar sensors for environment recognition, our functions warn the driver in critical traffic situations and support the driver performing braking and steering maneuvers.

In a small team working on emergency steering functions, we are dealing with simulation, vehicle testing as well as conceptual work for the system design.


Together with you, we are going to choose the topics for your work according to your skills and interests in respect to our project goals.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Become part of the highly motivated team working on future emergency steering functions
  • Design, run and evaluate scenariobased simulations for evasive maneuvers
  • Do conceptual and practical work for driving robot testing of steering functions
  • Assess future potentials of emergency steering functions using SteerbyWire systems
  • Help us to enhance our systems and our daily development tasks

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Enrolled student in the area of engineering, natural sciences, computer science or equivalent
  • Very good academic performance
  • Specific knowhow in the field of ADAS
  • Big motivation for road safety
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Scientific style of working with a high level of creativity
  • High level of team spirit
