Duties:


  • Serves as the Procurement Coordinator for the US Army Europe-Africa, G2, Intelligence Support Division
  • Executes the procurement based on selected method.
  • May be appointed as a Contracting Officer Representative.
  • Determines type of procurement based on approved requests for supplies and services.
  • Maintains the technical databases for the different types of procurements.
  • Maintains professional relationships with the various agencies that interact with the USAREUR-AF G
  • Ability to present information to senior level personnel.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Contracting Officers Representative (COR) certification.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing procurement and/or contract management to develop criteria to determine best value acquisition; also includes experience maintaining databases to track contract funding expenditures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS11).

Please Note- If an employee brings a child to an overseas location and that child is entitled to attend a DoD school on a space-required basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , the DoDEA and the Military Department responsible for providing related services will ensure that the child, if eligible for special education, receives a free appropriate public education, including related services pursuant to DoDI and DoDM

  • If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3 years of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler, but for the child's age, is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a spacerequired basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , then the Military Department responsible for Early Intervention Services (EIS) will provide the infant or toddler with the required EIS in accordance with the eligibility criteria consistent with DoDI and DoDM
  • Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a spaceavailable and reimbursable basis only.
