    Tasks

    • You define detailed project plans with relevant milestones for large projects in the area of ​​data management, especially in Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, data warehouse and analytics platforms/data lakes.
    • You are responsible for continuously monitoring the progress of projects and taking proactive measures to minimize risks and solve problems.
    • You take responsibility for data projects and lead and control cross-functional teams of specialist and IT experts with a focus on the development and optimization of data management solutions.
    • You ensure a positive team culture and targeted further development of team members to achieve the set project goals.
    • You are responsible for clear and effective communication with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure that all relevant parties are continuously informed about the project status and in a target group-appropriate manner.
    • You identify and implement communication requirements from stakeholders in project governance and planning.
    • Implementing effective risk management and quality control mechanisms so that provided solutions meet data management requirements and project goals.
    • Coaching, advice and further development of project manager colleagues in relevant project management functions round off your range of tasks. Independent and continuous improvement of the method kit and PMO-relevant processes are also included.


    Requirements

    • You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications.
    • You have several years of experience in project management of complex, cross-functional data projects, ideally in the areas of master data management, data governance, data warehouse and analytics platforms / data lakes.
    • You can demonstrate experience in managing internal and external project partners.
    • You have demonstrably high conflict resolution skills and experience in communicating with different target groups and management levels and have experience in escalation and de-escalation management.
    • Knowledge of utility company processes and business IT is an advantage (but not required).
    • You have a high level of initiative, a sense of responsibility, independent work and decision-making skills.
    • You are a team player with a reliable way of working and very good, active communication skills in a demanding work environment, also in English if necessary.
    • You have the ability to motivate and harmonize the needs of different stakeholders.
    • You have proven experience with relevant PMO tools, such as MS Project.
