    Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You independently develop reusable analysis models, configure and implement algorithms, select optimal tools and define visualization methods/tools for presenting results
  • You are also responsible for exploratory, process-related or textual data analysis in high dimensions and high volume
  • You develop and test prototypes independently in an industrial environment and validate and communicate results to answer business-relevant questions
  • You are responsible for maintaining a network of business experts to understand business analytics requirements and identify data-driven business opportunities
  • You validate, operationalize and maintain these models on a data analysis platform
  • You coordinate and guide collaboration with data scientists in other parts of the organization

    • Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, physics or electrical engineering
  • You have many years of professional experience in the field of data exploration and data science as well as project management experience
  • You have a deep knowledge of technologies, algorithms and methods in the fields of big data analytics, data mining, machine learning and natural language processing
  • You have profound experience with exploratory analysis and the data-based validation of assumptions and models
  • You are an expert in big data analytics and analytics with structured and unstructured data
  • You have very strong knowledge in the application and extension of analysis tools and systems, e.g. Python, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake or similar data analysis workbenches
  • Ideally, you have experience with corresponding cloud technologies
  • Ideally, you have experience and specialist knowledge of medical devices

  • Through your analytical precision and the application of statistical methods, you contribute to optimizing products and understanding customer behavior
  • You have a deep understanding of customer requirements and are able to contribute to their fulfillment with pragmatic data-driven approaches
  • Due to your very good presentation and communication skills, you are able to present technical and business-relevant insights at different levels of the organization
