Controller (M/F/d)

in the Global Expense & Staff Controlling section within the central division Reinsurance Controlling

In the Division Reinsurance Controlling (RIC), the responsibilities of controlling and management reporting are bundled together to ensure a uniform controlling process.

RIC advises the Reinsurance Committee (RVA), RI-CEO and the RI-CFO in respect of the current economics of the Reinsurance Segment and proper allocation of resources.

In parallel to the Reinsurance Controlling mission, RIC is enabling the global provision of structured internal Reinsurance Data as the Global Process Owner for Reporting.

There is a clear emphasis on cost controlling, and information on current cost trends is requested regularly. RIC1.4 acts as the GPO for expense and is responsible for budgeting and cost allocation processes. We are also responsible for cost monitoring and reporting, as well as for staff planning.

Due to the numerous interfaces involving the division and its involvement in the financial statements, the unit provides an excellent overview of current projects and reporting processes.

We are looking for a committed controller to report to the Head of Section "Global Expense & Staff Controlling" within our hybrid working environment.

Your Job

  • Work on harmonising global cost accounting processes in the central cost accounting system SAP-CO
  • Support within cost allocation in SAP-CO
  • Support with the further automation and digitalisation of systems, tools, interfaces and processes to further boost the efficiency of cost accounting
  • Collaboration in crossdivisional profitability and cost development projects

Your Profile

  • University study (preferably in the field of Economics), or comparable vocational training

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • High levels of motivation and aboveaverage commitment with a strong client and service focus
  • Composed and confident manner, as well as a flair for dealing with interfaces with the international organisation and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders at all levels in a manner that is fitting for the target group concerned
