As Regional Characterization Lead Europe (f/m/d) you will report directly to the Director of Power Semiconductors & IC Characterization Labs.

Your main responsibility will be to Lead our Characterization Team and manage our Laboratory in Lampertheim.


About the position:

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership for the characterization team
  • Actively assess and allocate the team's capacity to project activities
  • Ensure that the EHS compliance in the team is being followed
  • Reviewing and support of the Characterization Team in preparation and generation of project requested documents and data in close collaboration with Project Management
  • Ensure the execution of testing procedures according to defined and agreed specifications
  • Managing the assigned Laboratory, regarding CE, EHS, EPA/ESD, equipment calibration, internal & external Audits (IATF16949)

About you:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the characterization/validation area within the semiconductor or automotive industry
  • First experience in technical or disciplinary leading of engineers, technicians or working students
  • Structured, result
- and process-oriented way of working
  • Ability to lead employees in a demanding, supportive and motivating manner
  • Very good command of spoken and written English and German
  • Willingness to travel 10%
