PhD Student / Research Assistant (f/m/d) in the field of AR/VR-Techniques for Robotic Decontamination

Institut für Anthropomatik und Robotik (IAR)

Ihre Aufgaben:

Your research work will be in the area of high-end human-machine-interfaces focusing on Mixed Reality visuo-haptic interaction and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art large area haptic interfaces.

This includes learning methods for human intention recognition and motion compression for immersive high-quality telepresence.

The final goal of your scientific activities in the competence center is your doctorate.

Eintrittstermin:

January 1, 2024

Ihre Qualifikation:

The applicants should hold a university Master's degree in STEM areas and should also have strong English communication skills (both oral and in writing).
Basic knowledge and scientific interest in AI methods for use in production processes.

Salary:

Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.

Contract duration:

limited to 2 years with the option of extension for an additional 2 years
