YOUR TEAM:

The role of you as Lead Business Partner is a central component in the development of our HR organization. You will bring our people strategy into life and shape actively the future of CARIAD. You control and implement all relevant HR processes and topics and contribute with your experience and knowledge. Beside that you take project responsibility from the beginning on, having a lead function there as well. Since CARIAD is a decentralized organization, your team and business areas are located in different locations within Germany.


Your agile team (up to 10-12 team members) is responsible for different management board areas, is highly motivated and enjoy working in agile and non-hierarchical environment.

You encourage them to bring their best performance and enhance them to led them grow in their own personal and professional way.

Since we a member of the Volkswagen Group you have contact within a variety of brands with different cultures.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Head of / Lead Business Partner for an agile HR team with disciplinary responsibility for 34 HR Business Partners and functional responsibility for 68 HR employees from other HR departments, e.g. Recruiting, Academy, HC Management
  • Implementation of our people strategy in your own area of responsibility (CEO, CFO, CPO), first contact for your board members there and business units leaders for all relevant business topics
  • Strategic support and consulting of managers and experts in all personnel, management and change topics in the context of the development and implementation of the divisional strategy as well as the design and support of cultural change
  • Takeover (lead) project responsibility. Using agile working methods
  • Empowerment and coaching of leaders, experts and managers, also in matters of compliance with operational and legal regulations
  • Further development and optimization of the overall people strategy and HR instruments in cooperation with interface partners in your own department and beyond

WHO YOU ARE:


  • You are an experienced manager with proven leadership experience with 710 years of experience in (operative) Human Resources Management. Additional experience in a strategic, tech or/and agile environment is highly welcome
  • You are familiar working in complex corporate structures of a (large) companies
  • You ideally have experience in building up organizations otherwise you are motivated in building up a new tech one, including implementation of processes. We expect therefore a highly affinity to digitalization, new work topics and trends
  • You have a broad HR knowhow, compliance and labor law knowledge combined with a profound understanding of business needs and are experienced working on board and (top) management level
  • You are resilient, show perseverance and contribute your knowledge and experience right from the start, because building up an organization is not always easy. Strong negotiation and communication skills complement your profile
  • You are an convinced teamplayer. It is all about people. You are able to encourage and win your team and colleagues with your openmindset, authentic personality and the believe in collaboration and support.
