Overview & Team

The Portfolio Services department is part of DWS infrastructure functions, responsible for Corporate Actions, Class Actions, Proxy Voting, Collateral Management.

We invite you to grow with us in a dynamic environment, to become an important part of the Portfolio Services department and make a decisive contribution to the global success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Close interaction with Trading, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Fund Accounting as well as DWS counterparties & custodians
External vendor management, governance and oversight
Project management
Internal Governance and Oversight
Collateral Management onboarding
Ensuring operational readiness
Analysis and improvement/automation of existing processes
Application maintenance and testing
Documentation
Risk management
Invoicing oversight

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
At least two years of experience in the field of collateral management and/or securities lending
Preferred: Experience in project management, ideally related in a client facing role
Strong communication (written and verbal) in English and interpersonal skills
A learning mindset, ready to experience new ideas and situations regularly
Practical experience with internal and external stakeholders
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
Openmindedness and the ability to share information and provide expertise and competence within the team
A high degree of owninitiative, entrepreneurial spirit and selfconfidence in decisionmaking
