- In this role you will lead functionally and disciplinary the Department Chlor-Alkali (CA) Development and the Alkaline Water Electrolysis (AWE) Diversification consisting of four groups, and you will report directly to the Head of Innovation Center.
- Together with your team you are responsible for department's deliverables in development projects in the field of AWE Diversification and CA development including laboratory and test site acitivities, meet the required benchmarks for quality, deadlines, costs and ensure high quality development and qualification of the employees.
- You will conduct negotiations and communicate with universities, institutes, technology partners and suppliers.
- You are interested in innovation and will proactively and creatively initiate analyses of possible alternative options and actively suggest improvements for existing products or new projects.
- You are responsible for R&D budget preparation, application, controlling and support the head of Innovation Center in planning and adherence to the budget.
- You are responsible for coordination of quality management and HSE tasks, evaluating improvement proposals and review of group specific work instructions.
- You work closely with various corporate units and functions locally as well as globally and support sales, engineering, and manufacturing activities.
- You have successfully completed your studies in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- You have several years of professional experience in the field of research and development, ideally in the field of Chlor Alkali electrolysis or Alkaline Water electrolysis.
- You have more than 7 years of leadership experience as head of and you have proven your ability to lead your peers and to motivate people even in challenging situations.
- You take the responsibility for your team as well as results and you have excellent problem-solving attitude.
- You are highly team oriented, at the same time you have an independent work style.
- You are ready to travel worldwide, culturally as well as emotionally intelligent and highly proficient in English and German.
