Team Lead - Marketplace Operations (M/F/d)


This is your chance to be part of something big, to leave your mark and shape the further success of the Marketplace model at home24.

You and your team will further optimize onboarding and seller satisfaction while setting up scalable processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor an international team focusing on first onboarding and support for marketplace sellers and secondlevel customer escalation cases
  • Develop, implement and monitor KPIs to ensure onboarding efficiency, product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure a smooth transition through the various stages of the seller onboarding lifecycle from business development, to taking the first assortment live and the handoff to account management
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Commercial, Customer Service, and Engineering, to enhance the onboarding process and address any technical or operational challenges
  • Optimize the process of complaint and dispute management between customers and sellers
  • Own the customer journey and optimize it so that customers always have a very good buying experience
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other teams to optimize seller support and enhance the overall seller experience on our platform
  • Set up and document core processes to enable the further growth of the marketplace model at home24

Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
  • Several years' experience in ecommerce marketplace operations, seller onboarding, customer service or a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a focus on providing effective solutions for sellers
  • Indepth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces, and related operational processes
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive operational improvements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and build relationships with sellers
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for marketplace operations and seller support
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
