Constructor University (formerly Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH)

is a private, state-accredited, English-language research university in Bremen.

We are offering PreDegree, Bachelor, Master or PhD programs in three schools:

School of Science, School of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Business, Social & Decision Sciences and are involved in the professional development of specialists and managers and in the transfer of knowledge.

HR Business Partner (m-f-d)**:

(Full-time 38,5 hours/week, unlimited)

Job ID 23-50**:

Your responsibilities:

Active personnel support of selected employee groups, in particular scientific staff
Proper and timely processing of the complex daytoday business in personnel administration
Contract creation and management, entry/exit formalities, absence management
Maintaining personnel files and personnel database (incl. statistics)
Contact person for scientific staff in all jobrelated matters
Application management, in particular checking formal requirements and onboarding
Continuously develop relevant programs and activities, including policies and procedures

Your qualifications:

Successfully completed studies preferably with focus on human resources or comparable
Knowledge of human resources, labor law and university management
Experience in handling payroll software is an advantage
Experience with international work environment an advantage
Distinct social competence, confident appearance and integrity
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
