Your Role


As a Product Owner at Digital Patient Interaction Services unit, you will be part of product team and will act as the champion of customer ambitions, responsible for the global marketing automation platform rollout designed for B2B2C clients.


You will be closely cooperating with several external teams delivering components for the platform and will ensure the integration of these deliverables according to ZEISS requirements and standards.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop appropriately detailed defined backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the agile software development teams
  • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete tradeoff analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Coordinate the implementation, documentation and quality assurance in the project team, for the implementation of new features and/or feature versions
  • Create software development related documents according to medical business requirements processes
  • Perform the acceptance tests of your product and coordinate releases.
  • Build solid relationships with other internal functions such as Marketing, Sales, Operations and Legal
  • During the implementation phase of your product, you will be onsite with the customer to get firsthand feedback
  • Act as an ambassador for the product development internally and externally
Your Profile


Education:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, business informatics, business administration.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner
  • Proven experience in creating B2C and B2B products from scratch and rolling them out internationally
  • Expertise in digital business modelling/concepting
  • Experience in building SaaS B2B2C products or similar
  • Experience in prototyping for early and constant validation
  • Experience with design thinking or customer centric methodolog

Specific Knowledge:

  • A background in business and tech with a holistic understanding for the impact of the tools in digital marketing
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure tools
  • Professional and solutionoriented with the ability to switch between handson and highlevel thinking
  • Communicating effectively across diverse technical and nontechnical groups internally and externally
