- Sie entwickeln neuartige Spezialgläser, um Prozessanwendungen in der Halbleiterindustrie zu verbessern.
- Sie unterstützen komplexe Produkt-Entwicklungsprojekte im Bereich Quarzglas und hochschmelzender Gläser.
- Des Weiteren planen und organisieren Sie Versuche im Schmelztechnikum und werten diese aus.
- Sie identifizieren komplexe und technisch relevante Probleme um das Thema hochschmelzender Gläser, ermittelt deren grundlegenden Ursachen und entwickeln und empfehlen entsprechende Lösungen.
- Die Antizipation und der Schutz Technologien, Prozesse, Materialien und Produkte durch angemessene Patentanmeldungen liegt in Ihrer Verantwortung.
- Sie interagieren intern mit den Funktionen Product Management, Sales und Operations sowie extern mit Kunden, Forschungseinrichtungen und Kooperationspartnern und stellen damit die erfolgskritischen Aspekte der Innovationsprojekte sicher.
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in Physik, Chemie oder Materialwissenschaften, Promotion wünschenswert
- Langjährige Berufserfahrung in der Durchführung und Auswertung von Versuchen und deren Dokumentation
- Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Quarzglas oder hochschmelzenden Gläsern
- Kenntnisse im Bereich von Hochtemperaturschmelzanlagen
- Sehr gute organisatorische Fähigkeiten und Projektmanagementkenntnisse
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Teamfähigkeit, Kreativität und lösungsorientierte Herangehensweise, adressatengerechte Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Flexibilität
