As part of Projects & Service, the client provides Turnkey Projects & Consulting, Electrical Balance of Plant, HV substations and maintenance & asset management.
Tasks
The EHS Specialist will be the responsible for supporting and managing the environmental, health and safety documents for the qualification of all contractors within the business line.
Ability needed to support Projects organization on different execution scope, and documentation process (like Turnkey project, consortium partner EPC). The EHS Specialist will play an integral role in qualifying subcontractors for substation associated subcontracting jobs.
Roles and Tasks
- Contact person for sourcing and tendering. Report to the Regional EHS Leader and Regional Sourcing Leader.
- Ability to assess EHS competency regarding EHS documentation of the contractors and suppliers. If needed to fill the gap within the processes.
- Support the EHS qualification of the subcontract and processes.
- Record and monitor the Premob check list
- Actively support the Regional Operational, Sourcing functions of his/her Business line in EHS matters.
- Ensure EHS standards and follow local regulations during the qualification process in his/her Business Line in the region
Requirements:

Qualification/Requirement
Degree in engineering, environmental science, safety management or other EHS-related technical discipline from an accredited college/university is required. Graduate degree is preferred (Country EHS Accreditation is required)
At least 2 years of EHS program development, implementation, and experience with a focus on business segments such as electric power, refining, Off shore or similar industrial sector.
- Experience with tools like ComplyWorks, Workflow to qualify contractors in multiple countries
- High energy, motivation and commitment to take personal ownership of issues and drive them to exceptional outcomes.
- Fluency in the English and German language is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate information to a broad range of people and audiences as circumstances dictate.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and regulatory documents/standards, make sound judgments, and offer effective solutions.
