Lead Mechanical Designer (Inverter)

Description
Accelera by Cummins is looking for an ambitious and experienced
Mechanical designer with experience in the field of inverters.

Your tasks:

Central point of contact for our internal and external colleagues (worldwide).
Mechanical design of converters (copper rails and diecast aluminum parts).
Coordination with other departments like emotor development.
Mechanical design of prototypes and development for series production.
Coordinative and technical management of our international teams.
Active networking and coordination with other departments.
Compliance and verification of standards, regulations and technical content (IP standards).
Analyzing requirements and designs/adaption of products and solutions accordingly.
Creating mechanical models and doing tolerance analyses to simulate mechanical design concepts.
Maintaining technical product files.

Qualifications

Your profile:

Degree in mechanical engineering
Many years of experience in the automotive sector as mechanical Designer
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
Experience with PTC Windchill and PTC Creo desirable
Experiences with motor inverter integration
Familiar with office software (e.g word,excel, project etc.)
