Research Associate (f/m/d) Synthesis of molecular rare-earth compounds for magnetic and optical studies
part time 50%

Ihre Aufgaben:

You will perform chemical synthesis and analytical characterization of novel molecular rare-earth coordination and organometallic compounds.

Furthermore, your tasks include the collaboration with cooperation partners in physical chemistry and physics, the supervision of analytical equipment in the research group as well as the assistance in student internships.

The opportunity to pursue a doctorate is given.

Ihre Qualifikation:

You have a completed scientific university education (Master) in chemistry and experience in chemical synthesis under inert conditions (Schlenk techniques).

They are highly motivated to synthesize new compounds and have experience in X-ray diffraction and/or single crystal structure analysis.

Salary:

Salary category EG 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.

Contract duration:

limited for 3 years
