- Responsible for the creation and optimization of the module architecture and system interfaces
- Defining technical requirements and aligning on system level
- Overseeing complex system requirements and architectural implications
- Demonstrating a strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and application to complex technical projects
- Simulation, modelling and system performance analysis
- Working in close cooperation in a multidisciplinary, international R&D team

- PhD in physics or a comparable discipline with experience in relevant work areas
- Expertise in the development of high-end electron beam systems
- Good knowledge in the field of (ultra) high vacuum and high voltage technology
- Broad experience in electron-optical simulations
