Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Completed MSc degree (or equivalent) Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field to be qualified for Phd program by partner university.
  • Strong analytical skills in mathematical optimization, deep learning, probability theory, statistical mechanics, or quantum computing.
  • 2+ years of experience in Python and/or C/C++ with the ability to design and write quality code.
  • 1+ years of experience with software frameworks or solvers used in mathematical optimization.
  • 1+ years of experience in developing machine learning algorithms.
  • 1+ years of experience in developing algorithms for neuromorphic hardware systems In particular, familiarity with constraints imposed by neuromorphic hardware on algorithm development.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with popular machine learning or other frameworks commonly used in data science.
  • Experience in collaborative software development (design methodologies, SCRUM, version control, software testing, etc.).

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
