    We are looking for a Technical Director to join our Energy Team in Germany.

    You will be based in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich, or Frankfurt am Main and can work partly remote through flexible, self-organized work.

    Increasing Arup's work on Energy projects across existing and new clients to secure a strong pipeline of work with a focus on Transmission System Operators in Germany.


    • Technical Due Diligence, Project Management, and Hydrogen).
    • Contributing to both service offerings, Advisory Services as well as Engineering Design Services.
    • Providing technical leadership to complex projects in the space of power transmission networks, electricity interconnectors, green hydrogen, or geothermal.
    • 20+ years of experience developing and implementing energy projects with a strong engineering background.
    • 10+ years of experience leading project teams in the energy sector.
    • Very good knowledge of the German energy market with a focus on large utility companies and a strong network in the German energy market.
    • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
