Education & Study program coordinator (f/m/x)

CECAD Cluster of Excellence:

**You will be part of the CECAD Office, which supports the CECAD Cluster of Excellence scientific community in pursuing its mission to investigate mechanisms underlying lifespan regulation and devising strategies to promote healthy aging. The education and study program coordinator will organize and manage different education and study programs central to the CECAD in alignment with the strategic plan for the higher education of the University of Cologne and its partner institutions.

YOUR TASKS

  • Grant coordination and project management of education measures and programs supported by national and international funding
  • Development of a study coordination structure and its implementation as well as the implementation of elearning structures for the new Master's program "Genetics and Biology of Aging and Regeneration"
  • Organization of events and support of public relation activities in the field of education
  • Development of measures to integrate CECAD into (international) networks and programs of educational outreach
  • Education related statistical data collection and data management

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed Master's degree in natural or life sciences (preferential biology or biochemistry) or biomedicine
  • Experience in study program coordination is desirable
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, knowledge of KLIPS or ILIAS is desirable
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and German
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Selfmotivation, flexibility, improvisation skills, and reliability
  • Responsibility and sense of rigorous work
  • Friendly and confident manner towards interested parties, students, lecturers, and colleagues

The position is available immediately on a part-time basis (19,92 hours per week). It is limited until If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
