exciting projects and tasks related to innovation development and the key technologies of digitalization await you. Together with the various areas of the IAV Engineering portfolio, we are shaping the digital transformation. Join our team in the IAV Digital Lab and work on our exciting showcases on robotics and autonomous systems. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting tasks.

Your Tasks:

You will develop in the ROS 2.0 framework
You localize and map (e.g. SLAM)
You will work on path planning and collision avoidance
You take over speechtotext and texttospeech integrations
You work with Natural Language Processing (NLP) with GPT and RAG
You develop robot arm manipulation and gesture control and work with computer vision and image processing
You will be part of our scrum team made up of students and employees from our research areas. In the development process, you can contribute your skills, deepen your interests and, above all, you will have the opportunity to learn new things.

Necessary Skills:

You are currently studying computer science, automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related course of study
You have programming skills in at least one objectoriented language, preferably Python or C++
You are enthusiastic about topics such as robotics, navigation or image processing that's a good plus
You are open to new topics and can quickly acquire new skills

Desired Skills:

You have strong teamwork and communication skills and a structured way of working
