Supporting the Corporate Client Segment

Location
Munich, Germany

The department is responsible for the facultative and corporate Cyber business within Munich Re, i.e. provides Cyber insurance and reinsurance solutions to large corporations in Europe and Rest of World.

Our mission is to be the leading global cyber risk re-/insurer by using cutting edge cyber security knowhow, underwriting expertise and individual skillsets to develop a profitable book of business and support our large corporate clients.

Ideally available in a full-time basis during the first six months.

Your job

Closely work with the underwriters to support them throughout the daily underwriting process, thus getting first hand knowledge in Cyber underwriting
Take the lead on key parts of the underwriting process and support the creation of policy documents
Proactively and independently drive forward data quality initiatives
Develop and maintain analytics dashboards in Power BI as a basis for improved steering of the Cyber portfolio
Build a network and coordinate with interfacing teams worldwide

Profile:

Bachelor or Master student in Economics, Natural Sciences, Informatics or Law
Strong interest in cyber and data analytics topics
Curious mind and eagerness to learn and develop
High degree of selfmotivation and drive
Collaborative, independent and structured approach to work
Full command of Office tools, knowledge of Power BI is a plus
Fluent in English (Written and Oral) and/or German
You are able to work onsite in our Munich offices (at least to a certain degree)
