The Pipeline Development & Hematology Lead Oncology Europe (M/F/x) is responsible for the European strategic brand development, brand communication strategy and Life Cycle Management (LCM) for Daiichi Sankyo's Hematology medicine quizartinib, as well as the Antibody Drug Conjugates (among others: Patritumab-DXd, DS-6000, DS-7300) and future development programs.
His/her responsibility is to ensure the creation of value for brands for the European markets in close collaboration with the European Commercial, Medical and Market Access functions.
This position will be part of global Brand teams alongside keyGlobal Functions:
Marketing, R&D, Market Access and Medical Affairs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the European cross functional Brand Teams for our Hematology and Pipeline of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) in close alignment with Global and EU commercial functions
- Build strong relationships and ensure collaboration with global R&D, Marketing, Medical Affairs and Market Access
- Proactively identify potential commercial/access opportunities or issues in order to maximize the value of the Hematology and Antibody Drug Conjugates portfolio for Europe
- Provide commercial input into global LCM strategy, steering value creation for Hematology and ADC Pipeline assets from early development stage
- Actively contribute to defining Global Brand Strategy, representing European markets and customer needs
- Translate Global Brand strategies for Europe and deliver content (positioning, messaging etc.) to the European Affiliates as appropriate
- Drive Brand Planning together with commercial operations, delivering strategic guidance for the Hematology and ADC Pipeline assets to be implemented at country level
Personal Skills and professional experience:
- Degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Medicine, and Biology) or Business Administration is required
- PhD, MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- At least 10 years of pharma industry experience, including 5 years with international exposure
- Strong understanding of clinical development, as well as European regulatory processes and Market Access requirements are essential
- Previous Oncology launch experience is a plus
- Demonstrated results within a matrix organization and multicultural environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent in English
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
