Cybersecurity Associate Directors at BCG Platinion are

You're Good At:


  • Conducting cybersecurity assessments including gap analysis and roadmap development
  • Developing cybersecurity strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect clients' internal infrastructure and their customers
  • Developing cybersecurity business strategies for technology product vendors that are integrated in the organizations overall business strategy and increase revenue and profits
  • Working with leadership teams, including facilitating board and senior management cybersecurity awareness workshops
  • Implementing secure development lifecycle in a variety of contexts
  • Quantifying progress through cybersecurity measurements and risk quantifications
  • Creating table top exercises
  • Creating business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Identifying and steering possibly topics for client projects, up to and including proposals
  • Directing project teams on site at client locations with participation in project steering groups

You bring:


  • 12+ years of practical experience in cybersecurity consulting or project management (with teams of five persons or more) in a financial, healthcare, telecommunications, information technology, industrial or government organization
  • Bachelors degree information technology, business management, or similar degree
  • 8+ years of experience managing projects and decision processes at large organizations
  • Experience in acquisition, planning, management, and controlling of projects
  • Experience developing client relationships, managing expectations, and escalation situations
  • Handson experience with, or extensive knowledge of most of the following:
  • Developing cybersecurity policies or strategies
  • Managing cybersecurity risk
  • Leading security assessments
  • Implementing and running cybersecurity programs
  • Developing security architectures
  • Integrating security into system development lifecycle
  • Cyber supply chain risk management/third party risk management
  • Identity and access management
  • Developing cybersecurity workforce
  • Developing cybersecurity workforce
  • Delivering cybersecurity awareness training
  • Continuous monitoring
  • Vulnerability management, including conducting vulnerability assessments
  • Using SIEM tools, penetration testing, incident management, BCP, and/or DRP
  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity technologies throughout organizational and acquisition lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of at least two different cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity Framework, C2M2, NIST Special Publications, ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards)
  • Experience using cybersecurity for Cloud, Big Data, and Mobile environments
  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity regulatory environments
  • Mentorship, leading and offering guidance to other members of the team to develop talent, provide direction, and oversee output and projects
  • Management experience, leading team members through our career development process and providing timely and accurate performance feedback
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment
  • Strategic endtoend thinking
  • Ability to work with and lead dynamic teams
  • Ability to propose innovative ideas, build empathy within the firm and win the trust of the clients
  • Good interpersonal skills but also judgment independency and autonomy
  • Ability to write and manage proposals and reports
  • Ability to develop client presentations
  • Ability to present to senior management groups for both training and reporting purposes
  • Businessfluent written and spoken English language skills
  • Willingness to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects
