Are you a student with interest in gaining experience in short sea and land logistics? Would you like to work in an international environment? We are currently looking for a motivated working student (M/F/d) to work alongside our SSL Intra North Europe Trade team located in Hamburg.


Your responsibilities include:


Support the Trade team in day-to-day activities, e.g., by assisting with pricing and special rates, helping with system updates, rate approvals, contribution calculations and maintenance of tariffs and customer databases.

Produce and maintain Trade related statistics, and control sheets.

Handle queries on Trade related matters and perform checks and corrections.

Ensure and maintain data quality standards.

Support with the revision and update of processes.

Assist the Trade team with various other ad-hoc tasks.


You bring aboard:

Enrolled student preferable in Data Analytics, IT, Mathematics, or Economics

Availability to work 15 to 20 hours weekly, with the possibility to increase working hours during semester break periods.

Advanced knowledge in Excel mandatory (i.e., confident with Pivot tables, formulas, queries, etc.) and Office 365 apps.

VBA knowledge is a plus (optional).

Previous experience preparing and enhancing reports and managing data quality processes.

Analytical mindset.

Business English in written and spoken form.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Independent and reliable way of working.
