Lead of Total Rewards.

  • This role will report to our Chief People Officer and will partner with Spendesk's Business leaders, driving compensation and benefits strategy globally to 1.) ensure we are incentivising and rewarding the right performance, and 2.) ensure we remain competitive across all functions. We expect this leader to bring profound expertise in the rewards domain and deliver innovative programs, enabling us to attract and retain the best talent worldwide.
  • Initially, you will be operating as an individual contributor. Over time, you will be chartered to build, develop, inspire and lead a topperforming, highly engaged team delivering simple, flexible, impactful services that our employees see as 5star experiences. Activate an inclusive and growth mindset in the team to tap into a diverse range of ideas and solutions. Coach, mentor and support the team to achieve their personal career best.
  • You will cocreate the global total rewards strategy and capabilities to scale at pace in support of Spendesk's hypergrowth and lofty business goals. You will develop and maintain scalable, flexible and innovative frameworks and drive their implementation.
  • Basing your ideas on market research and internal insights, you will produce datadriven decisions and develop a unique rewards structure that scales the business, anticipating growth demands and future capability requirements.
  • As a key leader on our People Leadership team, you will play a key role in introducing innovation and best practices, as well as acting as an exponential leader in helping us uplift our capabilities across the People Team.
  • As an influencer, you will build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, providing indepth market insight to inform business strategy decisions, creating forwardlooking solutions for their functions, taking full ownership and driving decisions on complex compensation and benefits topics.
  • We will expect you to be inventive and agile in your approach, demonstrating flexibility and customer focus and reacting quickly to changes, at the same time being influential and consistent.
  • You will partner with other Centers of Excellence in the People Team (Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Talent Solutions) and our "services" arm in the People Partnership team, to support the successful attraction, engagement, performance and retention of our employees.
  • Held the role of a head of the total rewards or an influential second in command in the organization, with a successful track record in designing, developing and implementing compensation, benefits and wellness programs at a regional or global level
  • Strong business acumen to connect our business goals with the total rewards roadmap, continuously validating our investment in total rewards with the goals of the company
  • Known as an exceptional leader, who builds strong partnerships with our internal stakeholders at all levels in the organization and advocates change through influence. Is a cocreator of solutions, engaging key stakeholders to shape frameworks and led implementation to ensure programs land effectively with our employees.
  • Has a builder mindset, positive attitude and acts as an exceptional communicator to support our employees as we navigate significant change.
  • A strong expertise in designing, developing and implementing innovative compensation programs which are shaped together with employees and fit for purpose of future scale and organizational goals
