We are looking for a Planning and Engagement Supervisor who will be given the opportunity to shape the future of technology planning and financial management at the heart of McDonald's Global Technology team.
You will be located in headquarters in Munich and will be a pivotal member of our high-energy German PMO team, working alongside the International operated Markets (IOM) Segment Technology and Global Technology Planning teams.
We need someone to collaborate with the Segment and Global Technology Planning and Alignment team, influencing key decisions, and playing a critical role in shaping the German Market strategy and finance plans.
You will be representing Germany, which is one of our largest markets and is part of the wider Large International Operating Markets.
You will be got to person for technology products, their dependencies, and how they fit together – providing the clarity required to the Technology Senior Leadership Team and the wider business.
If you are a self-starter with a positive attitude, a passion for technology, and the ability to communicate effectively, this is a role where your skills will contribute to the success of our global technology initiatives.
Monitor and account for Technology expenditure, including department accounts, Stock accounts and recharges to projectsEnsure technology portfolio projects are aligned to governance requirements of global and local market.
Ensuring all stakeholders in the German market are aware of key dates provided by the Segment and Global Tech team such as National Deployment Ready, to ensure that these timelines are reflected in German plans for National Deployment Complete and Activation in Market
Report project status back to segment/global throughout the life cycle of the projects using Clarizen/Smartsheet
Represent German market in the Global Technology Annual Planning process – gathering input to represent and ensuring outputs are fed back and reflected on market plans to maintain alignment.
Partner with the market PMO team to understand the priorities for the German market.Partner with the LIOM Segment Technology Team, attending peer team meetings, accept and deliver (appropriate) tasks assigned, participate in group activities and assignments, suggest, and implement process improvements for global technology function.
3m of global funding.Identify risks of over or underspend and ensure this is flagged to the Senior Leadership Team.
Working with Technology teams to simplify and provide recharge expertise, establishing robust processes for the planning of budgets for Franchisee recharges.
Experience of working in a Technology TeamStrong background of working in teams and enforcing financial governance
Plan, schedule and monitor your teams work to meet time and quality targets.
Ability to manage multiple projects
Exceptional knowledge of project management and roadmap tools and techniques (e.g., Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
