For our integration teams within Global Technology, Architecture and IT Services we are searching for an Integration Solution Architect API & ESB (*), located in head office Essen.

The integration teams are responsible for worldwide data exchanges within DB Schenker's networks. You will support our team by coordinating IT implementations for on-boarding via API or ESB (SOA).

You will be responsible for the realization of worldwide integration projects, beginning from analysis, via architectural solution designs and IT relevant transformations of business cases (API or ESB), to the specification for the implementations (validation structures, conditions and logics, conversion rules) until the point of integration tests and go-live support.

You will provide architectural & technical consultancy for integration projects.
You will coordinate the whole integration project with all technical teams and assure quality assurance measures.
You will take responsibility for project organization of API and ESB integrations as well as for delivery in time and quality.
You will optimize existing integrations and services for continuous improvements and easier support.
You will work in an agile & virtual environment, and you will collaborate in project discussions to exchange knowledge and experiences in an international team.

Your profile:

Academic study in IT management or comparable education with an excellent degree
Several years experiences in managing integration projects for ESB (SOA) or API
Advanced knowledge in webservices and SOA for common data formats (JSON, XML) and descriptions for REST and SOAP (Swagger, WSDL)
Familiar with iPaaS, e. g. MuleSoft
Common technical understanding of programming languages
Analytical, structural, accurate and independent work style
Knowledge in the logistics industry is an advantage
Willingness to work in a virtual team, strengths in selfmotivation as well as selforganization
Worldwide mobility, high flexibility, ability to work under pressure, commitment, eagerness to learn, high customer and service orientation
Adequate communication capabilities on international level
Fluent written and spoken business English
