In our central department Group PR & Communications we are looking for an editor for PR and social media content (location Hilden).

In your role, you will support the C-level communications team as well as internal communications and PR managers in creating high-quality content for various platforms, especially in English (text, images, moving images).

Your tasks will include writing social media posts, specialist articles, press releases as well as quality assurance and proofreading of texts.

You will also provide support for topic and campaign planning, community management on LinkedIn, monitoring current trends and organizing media events.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to the implementation of our global communication strategy.


What you can expect:


  • You will be responsible for the editorial planning and creation of highquality content for various platforms, especially in English.
  • Your tasks will also include proofreading and quality assurance of texts to ensure consistency and compliance with our guidelines and standards.
  • You will also support topic and campaign planning as well as coordination and implementation for our Clevel social media channels and other platforms.
  • You always keep an eye on current trends and topics in order to produce timely and relevant content and you enjoy supporting the organization of media events.
  • You also take care of community management with a focus on LinkedIn and are responsible for creating daily comments and articles.
  • Last but not least, you will also be responsible for managing agencies.

What you bring:


  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship/traineeship or a degree in journalism, public relations/communications and have at least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • You also have strong editorial skills in words, images and moving images and have already gained international experience.
  • In addition, you can communicate complex topics in an understandable and appealing way and familiarize yourself with new areas of work.
  • You also have experience with personal branding on LinkedIn and community management and the willingness to build up further channelspecific knowledge.
  • Native English or at least business fluent in written and spoken English is a must, German at communication level is an advantage.
  • Initiative, the ability to make decisions, flexibility and the desire to work in an international team as well as very good Office skills round off your profile.
