    Requirements:

    WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

    - Master or bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science.
    - Over 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience developing, prototyping and designing scalable Java-based systems for cloud deployments.
    - You are passionate about building and leading tech teams that focus on client impact, technical excellence, and quality.
    - Ability to make decisions to advance each project. You are comfortable owning and solving even the most ambitious technical challenges and defining the path forward.
    - You are creative in framing solutions and data driven and analytical in your decision making.
    - Passion for building robust and highly secure backend systems and a deep understanding how development impacts DevOps for the projects.
    - Excellent communication skills. Within the team and across the organization you can communicate transparently and effectively.
    - Excellent German and English language skills (level C1/C2)
    - Youre willing to relocate to Berlin.

    As an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) with extensive Java experience you will be playing a key role within the Engineering team at Bloom.

    We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Engineering Manager who wants to take an active and key role in growing our Test & Learn Technology Practice

    Your main tasks and responsibilities with which you will have fun:

    Manage all technical deliverables for one or more Enterprise-grade software engineering projects
    Design and implement the most challenging aspects of backend and DevOps architectures
    Assemble and organize high-performing cross functional teams for each project based on agile processes
    Collaborate closely with various stakeholders in product management and design to jointly align on client priorities
    Actively manage contributions of each team member and provide positive, constructive, and timely feedback on an ongoing basis
    Identify and scope opportunities to build re-usable components, widgets, tools and microservices to further accelerate cross-project delivery of high-quality solutions in our core areas of expertise
    Mentor and grow your team. Build and influence a culture of ownership, inclusivity, and quality.
