The System Innovation team focuses on innovation projects with national and international partners from industry and academia.

The team deals with diverse state of the art topics like Mobile Communication Networks and Embedded systems for industrial automation use cases.

Tasks:

You will be involved in several development steps:

Research, analysis and documentation of technical state-of-the-art and next-generation mobile networks.
Definition of the demonstrator concepts & system architecture
HW & SW implementation of demo components (embedded programming)
Integration of developed concepts into the system solution (HW & SW)
Setting up network HW and SW
Extension of contract or conversion into thesis/internship topics later is possible

Requirements:

Student of a Master course in Engineering/Information Technology or Bachelor students in 5th/6th semester with background in the research areas
Interest or experience in the areas of communication networks, IoT or distributedsystems
Knowledge on network security is beneficial
Good knowledge on programming languages e.g. C/C++, Java, Python
Knowledge on Linux, embedded software development, or GUI programming would be advantageous
Proactive, ability to work independently, creative and innovative mindset, and good team player
